Jacqueline A. Peters is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who has been with Cedar Grove Medical Associates since 2007. She completed her undergraduate RN degree at Our Lady of The Elms in Chicopee, Massachusetts in 1987, followed by her master’s degree from Belmont University in Nashville, TN in 1997. Before receiving her NP degree. Ms. Peters worked as an RN in neonatal and pediatric critical care at Boston Children’s Hospital and Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Prior to joining Cedar Grove Medical Associates, she spent 10 years as an NP providing acute and chronic care to patients at The Primary Care and Hope Clinic in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
Ms. Peters greatly enjoys being able to see and treat patients of all ages. She feels this provides her with the ability to develop long-term relationships and follow patients throughout their lifetime, treating multiple generations of the same family. She is passionate about promoting health and wellness and believes it is important to spend time listening to patient’s concerns. Her practice includes health and wellness as well as managing acute and chronic issues throughout the lifespan.
Professional interests include all aspect of pediatric care, adolescent gynecology and caring for adults with multiple chronic illnesses to improve their quality of life.
She lives in Smyrna and has two children. She enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
